Christmas Traditions

Christmas is such a wonderful time for fellowship and carrying on tradition.  A special tradition for us at Acacia Worship Center is to help the children focus on the true meaning for the season by making a birthday cake for Jesus.  Part of our holiday church service includes singing happy birthday to Jesus and each child reads a card that they have prepared for our Lord.  This year the kids also put on an adorable performance of the Grinch discovering the true meaning of Christmas.  After service, we all share in a wonderfully prepared meal as one big happy family.  Every holiday someone volunteers to host the event in the way of decorations and organizing the potluck.  This year Patty Tapia and Anita Roybal went out of their way to create the most festive Christmas atmosphere for us all to enjoy!  It was complete with a Christmas tree, toy train, and bear in a box gifts for all the children.  Our thanks to everyone who helps us carry on and celebrate these traditions that are part of making our church so special and unique!
